Aziz will be doing a Love and Haiti Comedy Benefit on this (Monday Jan. 25) at 9 p.m.at Largo in L.A. that will Feature Sarah Silverman and special guests (rumored to appear, among others, are Ed Helms and Ben Stiller)
British sketch comedy duo Little Britain to premiere on HBO this sunday!
Little Britain USA finds the English duo visiting the U.S. and bringing all their cast of characters along with them. Lou and Andy (the mentally challenged young man and his best friend/caregiver), Vicky Pollard (the incoherent working class teen), Emily Howard (the old fashioned transvestite), and Marjorie Dawes (the obtuse leader of Fat Fighters) are amongst the many. Will the show still pack the same laughs in a different setting? Only time will tell, but I'm hoping it's a riot.
Little Britain USA premieres on HBO this sunday at 10:30pm.

I first heard about The Underminer book awhile back from an episode of This American Life titled: The Allure of the Mean Friend, in which author Mike Albo performed a skit as a class A underminer. Having been subjected to numerous underminers in my life, I immediately fell in love!
I remember thinking that I could easily envision Albo performing various scenarios from the book. Well, now he's up and done it. Below is a video clip of his classic backstabbing character that you hope you never have to meet, but first...

I'm sure you've read in the news by now that (counterculture comedian) George Carlin passed away. He will indeed be greatly missed. I'm posting a couple of audio clips from 2002's Brain Droppings titled "Stuff" and "N.Y. vs L.A"...funny stuff. I also intended to post a few tracks from 2004's hilarious When Will Jesus Bring the Porkchops, but I didn't get a chance to dig into my hard drive...perhaps for another post. I'm gonna go watch The Aristocrats and laugh myself silly at Carlin's very deadpan delivery of the world's dirtiest joke!
Also listen to "Extreme Human Behavior", "Drugs", "Religion", "Dumb Americans", "Why We Don't Need 10 Commandments", and "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television" courtesy of Live Journal
Did you catch Jonah Hill (Superbad, Knocked Up) hosting SNL last saturday? Me neither, but I did catch this hilarious SNL Digital Short that recently popped up online. Have a laugh!

Here's a couple of new clips from the Season 2 of Human Giant. The show premieres on March 11th at 11 pm on MTV. The special guest stars Bill Hader (Superbad), Brian Posehn (The Sarah Silverman Program), Andy Samberg (SNL), and Matt Walsh (Semi-Pro).
Watch the clips here (stick around after the first clip, the second clip stars right after) or right here..
So it appears everybody is fucking everybody these days. Sarah Silverman's "I'm Fucking Matt Damon" video and her boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel's response, "I'm fucking Ben Affleck" have surely been seen by now.
Now, here's a marketing tactic for Kevin Smith's forthcoming film Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Kevin Smith, Elizabeth Banks and Seth Rogan (with gust spots from Jason Mewes and Traci Lords) have created their very own parody video, peep the last scene with Kevin Smith and M. Night Shyamalan's director credit. make brief appearances.
Last night Jimmy Kimmel finally dropped his response to girlfriend Sarah Silverman’s “I’m F*cking Matt Damon” skit. He may have actually one-upped Silverman with his star studded video for “I’m F*cking Ben Affleck".
Have you been over to Funny or Die lately? No, I didn't think so. In fact the site has lost 81% of its initial traffic four month's after airing the hilarious Landlord skit starring Ferrell and Adam McKay’s daughter Pearl. So they've called in Judd Apatow (Superfreak, Knocked Up) who has now signed on as a partner and will be contributing content to the site as well. This is a new clip. Head over to the site for more.
ICED Media sent over a hilarious new clip of from this weeks Sarah Silverman Program, which airs Wednesday nights at 10:30 pm EST. This clip is called Hate Crime...
Mary Lynn Rajskub, star of FOX’s 24 and alternative comedy darling, performed her show The Complications of Purchasing a poodle pillow on Sundays in May (for only $10), now her show will also be running sundays in June in Los Angeles (tickets now $25) at the Steve Allen Theater.
According to the management at The Steve, the show is ostensibly a platform for Mary Lynn to riff on whatever the heck she feels like.

Now I normally don't post about anything fashion related, but seeing as this spoiler t-shirt is film related I felt it deserved a little Caffeine-Headache post.
I mentioned this Cavemen show before (read and see Geico clips here), but now a clip has surfaced. This most unusual pilot turned a series of Geico commercials into a half-hour comedy project. Cavemen revolves around three pre-historic men who must battle prejudice as they attempt to live as normal thirtysomethings in modern Atlanta.
Remember when video blogging was a brand spankin' new medium? Remember how good Rocketboom used to be when they first got started? Well, Amanda Congden has just posted a miniblog on her official site that looks awfully reminiscent of that Rocketboom format you knew and loved! Minus the cheezy map, tape recorder, and the jazzy tune that is.
Bloggers favorite comedian Aziz Ansari (and friends) show called Human Giant premiered on MTV last Thursday, but if you missed it, you can download the first episode now for free from iTunes!
ABC has announced that they are developing the Caveman series of Geico Auto Insurance commercials into a half-hour comedy project. The ads have gathered a following for their jokes about prehistoric men fighting prejudice from the modern world. Here's some more commercials...
Here's an SNL Digital Short from last satudays episode featuring Rainn Wilson (of The Office).
Musical guest Arcade Fire performing "Keep the Car Running"
Comedy Central's long-delayed Sarah Silverman series will finally premiere on Thursday, February 1st. Comedy Central's press materials describe the project: "Fresh off the success of her feature film Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic, the irreverent Sarah Silverman takes on the small screen. Sarah stars as herself in this new original series that is bound to make you feel better about your own life. Tune in to see her offend, seduce, and use everyone she knows and meets!" Well, that sounds like must-see viewing to me.
One of the greatest cult series of all time comes to the stage... a good thing or not?
Evil Dead: The Musical is said to be a hilarious stage show that takes all the fun of '80s horror films Evil Dead I and 2. They promise that blood will fly, limbs will be lost, and demons will tell bad jokes. All this, plus singing and dancing. On second thought this sounds like a great time. The production is currently running in NYC.
A new episode of The Office airs tonight, but I recently came across this hilarious viideo starring Steve Carrell and the cast and crew of The Office in A Recital of 10 Things You Don't Know About Women by Jenna Fischer. Here's a couple of my favorite passages..."pms is real, it’s chemical, and it sucks. If someone told you that every 30 days you were going to get jacked repeatedly in the nuts, you’d be pissy around day 26 too!" There's also the 'You Will Get Laid' segment, as in..."If you act excited about the bath mat we bought at Target...you will get laid." Funny stuff.
Miss last weeks episode of The Office, get the two-minute replay plus some hilarious deleted scenes here.
Also, in the department of funny Fellowship of the Chain Ring posted a comical segment called Top Ten Signs that Lost Has “Jumped the Shark”... that's that defining moment when you know your favorite television program has reached it's peak. Number 2 is my favorite, it reads "At the beginning of season 4, Jack is mysteriously no longer played by Matthew Fox, but by Matthew Perry, and none of the characters seem to notice the change". They left off Hurley getting his own spinoff sitcom, simply titled Hurley.
I saw this last week on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and I knew I just had to post this. It's a clip of Little Richard making Bush's 9/11 anniversary speech a little clearer,
Comedian Aziz Ansari is Clell Tickle and this is a behind the scenes look at the indie rock marketing guru who makes indie rock dreams come true...by any means necessary.
I've mentioned Borat's movie trailer before, but have you seen Borat's MySpace page? Sacha Baron Cohen (star of HBO’s hit comedy Da Ali G Show) takes his hilarious Kazakstani reporter character Borat to the big screen as he travels from his primitive home in Kazakhstan to the U.S. to make a documentary. The movie hits theaters November 3rd.
What with all the re-runs on the telly I'm in the process of getting caught up on all the television shows I missed as well as past seasons of shows I now watch. The Office was one of the shows I began to watch with regularity last season (along with Lost, 24, and Scrubs). There are now four webisodes, which are basically five-minute clips, up over at The Office's website. In the meantime get caught up on the British version of the show...it's equally as (if not more) funny.
One of the best things I found this year at Comic-Con was Sucklord, my new favorite DJ. At first glance he looked like just another Jango Fett costume but then I noticed the gold chain, rings, and '80s boom box bumpin old school tracks with Star Wars and sci-fi audios dubbed over. I quickly bought a CD from him and even though it was 10 bucks it was worth every penny. Sucklord makes custom toys, low rider bikes, and has made a few great CD's that I still need to get my hands on. There is a certain Nerd Core scene that is developing and weather you like it or not people like Sucklord actually make it worth looking into.
Darth V. pity the fool who mess with the Death Star! Some genius with alot of time (and editing skills) on their hands has created this short YouTube Star Wars feature entitled Vader Sessions. It features voice samples from James Ear Jones career set to images of lord Vader...and it's some pretty stuff.
Charlie Murphy is holding down the fort for Chappelle's Show Season 3. Get a preview of how the show will function without Chappelle from this clip that features some Tupac lyrics that are a little ahead of their time.
Amanda Congdon has been forced to leave popular Rocketboom video blog over a disagreement with her partner, Andrew Baron. Supposedly the show will go on, but without her will the show still work is anybodys guess.
I hereby begin a regular feature I'll call 'Five Minute Laugh', which basically consists me posting a comedy bit (via youtube) every monday, from here on out. I watched a Billy Connolly: Erect For Thirty Years over the weekend so I'll start this off with him. Enjoy.
I found this link to Bombay TV from Rocketboom earlier this week and I've been spending entirely too much time making corny videos like this one. There's also Bombay TV 2 link there for you to piece together a series of clips to make a much longer scene...you know you want to make your own.
When I caught a performance from Sean Hayes at Largo the other night he jokingly spoke of Terets Without Regrets, a variety show of-sorts in Oakland, CA. Every Terets Without Regrets event features a freestyle MC battle for $100. This particular battle featured a rapper who calls himself Jelly Donut...probably due to the fact that he, well, dresses up in a jelly donut costume.
Watch as America's favorite pastry devours Mc's in freestyle battle. Click on the image and let the laughs commence.
