{The Twilight Sad}
This is the third album from Scots The Twilight Sad (via Fat Cat Records). For this album, the trio worked with legendary producer Andrew Weatherall and added darker synth elements to color their moody shoegaze. The dramatic opener "Alphabet" contains the line "So sick to death of the sight of you now/ Safe to say I've never wanted you more". The love/hate theme carries over on "Don't Move" with two parallel instincts of "I want you more than you will ever know/I'll hurt you more than you will ever know". Key tracks: "Alphabet", "Dead City", ""Sick", "Don't Move", and "Another Bed".
I just can't get enough of this song, in particular... Stream the album in it's entirety right here
