{Youth Lagoon}
With simple melodies and slow building lo-fi anthems Youth Lagoon gets comparisons to something of a cross between Perfume Genius and Washed Out. Fat Possum signed the Boise-based singer/songwriter (Trevor Powers) and are set to re-release his full-length debut, The Year of Hibernation, on September 27th. This album sort of sneaks up on you, and it just might land in my top ten of the year.
