Garland Jeffreys began his recording career as a ‘70s-‘80s rock ’n’ soul artist. Rolling Stone magazine’s even named him Best New Artist for 1977. About 14 years ago he stepped back from the music business and stopped making records. This year he released a new album titled “The King of In-Between, and he seemingly picked up where he left off.
