Showtime ordered up 12 episodes of a new series called Homeland.
The thriller stars Claire Danes as CIA agent Carrie Anderson, who begins to suspect that the recent rescue of longtime POW Scott Brody (Damian Lewis) is actually one piece in a larger terrorist plot.
Two 24 exec producers are onboard (Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon), as well as Gideon Raff, exec producer of Israeli series Prisoners of War.
