{13 Assassins}
Takashi Miike directs the ultra-violent film 13 Assassins, a remake of Eiichi Kudo’s 1963 black-and-white Japanese film of the same name. The story focuses on a group of unemployed samurai who are enlisted to bring down a sadistic lord and prevent him from ascending to the throne and plunging the country into a wartorn future.
Look for this film in select theaters April 29th.
