{White Material}
White Material is set in a politically unstable African country the countryside is poluted by roving child soldiers.
All the expatriated French people have gone home, getting out before things turn really nasty. Maria doesn't want to leave her coffee plantation and abandon her harvest the first time she hears gunfire. She believes she can find protection from the mayor of her neighboring town.
The film stars Isabelle Huppert. Look for it in select theaters November 19th.
