{The Killer Inside Me}
Based on the noir novel by Jim Thompson about a dumb, friendly sheriff who is secretly a brilliant psycho. The adaptation is directed by Michael Winterbottom (24 Hour Party People) and stars Casey Affleck in the disturbing role of Lou Ford. The film was much talked about during it's premiere at Sundance, not for being exceptionally good or bad, but for the films violence towards women.
An extended red band trailer (nearly 6 minutes) recently popped up online, but be warned there is nudity and numerous scenes of violence towards women that may be hard to watch.
Look for The Killer Inside Me in select theaters June 18th.
