{Ben Gibbard}

Ben Gibbard has teemed up with Jay Farrar (Son Volt) to record a new album titled One Fast Move or I'm Gone, inspired by Jack Kerouac's book Big Sur.

The short tour will stop in L.A. ay the El Rey Theatre on Friday, October 23rd.

Tickets for the Ben Gibbard/Jay Farrar show will go on sale tomorrow (September 16th at 10:00am) via Ticketmaster.

Also...as, I'm sure you've heard, Death Cab For Cutie will release the first single from the Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack. The soundtrack is also rumored to feature Radiohead, Bon Iver, and Muse. The soundtrack will officially release on November 20th.
