{The Panics}
Originally I began scrolling my iPod to compile a list of some of my favorite albums this year. In doing so I found a great song ("Don't Fight It' from The Panics album Cruel Guards) that I had played on one of my Late Night Sounds mixes.
Unfortunetely (for me) the album never found it's way into my rotation, so I've been listening to it alot lately and I have quickly realized that this was one of The Best Albums of the Year...last year!
The Australian band's sound relies on infectious Brit-pop flavored melodies and catchy indie-rock. If you too missed hearing the album upon it's release (there was surprisingly very little coverage of the album), then don't hesitate to give Cruel Guards a listen.
