{Rubies}
California electro folk trio Rubies are gaining quite a following in Sweden and Japan. It doesn't hurt that they have some talented friends lending a helping hand, including: Eirik Glambek-Boe (Kings of Convenience), Leslie Feist, Karl-Jonas Winqvist (Blood Music), Dan Judd (Sorcerer), Lars Skoglund (Peter, Bjorn and John), Maria Eriksson (The Concretes), and the up and coming electronic duo Studio.
There is no US release date yet for the forthcoming album titled Explode From Center, although the album should be available from Telle Records (Norway) and a single is to be released through Rallye Records (Japan) on October 18th.
