{Private Fear in Public Places}
Here's another interesting drama now playing in select theaters, which I'm itching to see...
Private Fears in Public Places is dirceted by French filmmaker Alain Resnais and stars Sabine Azéma (Not on the Lips), Pierre Arditi (One Stays, The Other Leaves), and André Dussollier (Amélie).
Azéma plays Charlotte, a Bible-toting secretary. By day, Charlotte works in the office of a sexually repressed real estate agent, Thierry (played by Dussollier). In the evenings, she cares for Lionel's bedridden father. Lionel (played by Arditi) is a bartender in a chic Paris hotel. Loneliness is a quality shared by all of the characters in Private Fears, which is based on a play by Alan Ayckbourn.
