{Angel-A}
French director Luc Besson (Le Femme Nikita, The Professional, The Fifth Element) once claimed he would only make 10 films before retiring from the director's chair. Angel-A clocks in at number nine. Besson breaks new ground in his filmmaking with Angel-A, a movie about a small-time hood (Jamel Debbouze) about to end his life when he finds a beautiful, but supernatural woman (Rie Rasmussen) to accompany him on his exploits.
Sony Pictures Classics has just acquired the domestic rights to Angel-A the drama, which has already released in much of Europe.
Hint Hint: The hyphen in the title of Angel-A is to assist those to realize the name Angela contains the word angel.
