{The Queen}
Miramax Films has recently acquired director Stephen Frears' (director of Dirty Pretty Things, Liam, High Fidelity) forthcoming film The Queen starring Helen Mirren, Michael Sheen, and James Cromwell. The Queen is described as a revealing glimpse into the lives of the British royal family following the untimely death of Princess Diana. Mirren stars as Queen Elizabeth II, Cromwell plays Prince Phillip and Sheen co-stars as Tony Blair. The film is scheduled to open in select theatres nationwide on November 3rd.
