{Marie Antoinette: The Party That Started The Revolution}
Hmm...Aphex Twin (intro), Gang of Four (afterwards), and New Order's (last) music are all featured in this new lengthly trailer for Marie Antoinette. Quite odd indeed, however the punk and new wave aesthetic is apparent in the marketing of the film and the design of the website, which promotes the film with the tagline “The Party that Started a Revolution”.
Sophia Coppola's film is a retelling of France's iconic but ill-fated queen, Marie Antoinette. From her betrothal and marriage to Louis XVI at 15 to her rein as queen at 19 and to her beheading in 1793 at the age of 38. The film is set for a October 20th release date.
