{Blood Diamond}
Word on the street is that this thriller/drama (directed by Ed Zwick) is a prime candidate for Oscar consideration. If the film delivers on the intensity of the trailer, then we're all in for a treat. Set against a war torn Sierra Leone, DiCaprio stars as an African mercenary who teams with a fisherman (Djimon Hounsou) and an American journalist (Jennifer Connelly) to find the rare titular diamond. Blood Diamond is due out December 15th.
