{The Best of Chris Isaak}
I first became aquianted with Chris Isaak when I saw a music video of his at the end of David Lynch's Wild at Heart vhs tape (vhs?). Did you know David Lynch directed that original video for "Wicked Games"? Well, unfortunetly that version wasn't as nice as the re-do with him gropping a super model on the beach.
There's a new Best of Chris Isaak CD is in stores...the album features 14 hits and four new tracks: a concert-favorite cover of Cheap Trick's "I Want You To Want Me", an acoustic version of "Forever Blue", and two new original songs, "King Without A Castle" and "Let's Have A Party". Some of my favorites like "Don't Get So Down On Yourself", "Pretty Girls Don't Cry", and "Go Walking Down There" are missing but I guess they've got to save something for a Best of Vol.2, right? Wait a minute are there even another twenty or so excellent songs to warrant a vol.2? Hmmm...
"King Without A Castle" (Brand New)
"Can't Do A Thing (To Stop Me)" (Always been one of my favs)
There is also a Best of Chris Isaak DVD companion complete with Isaak and super models Helena Christensen and Laeticia Casta looking, well, sexy. I know "Wicked Games" is often reffered to as one of the sexiest videos of all time, but I'll be damned if this one isn't a runner-up...
