El Cinco de Mayo is a national celebration in Mexico. It commemorates the victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza over the French expeditionary forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
But, much like St. Patty's Day, we now use this as an excuse to get drink way too many Corona's (or god forbid Tequila). Here's a mixtape to get you in the spirit:
