{Snow Patrol - Eyes Open}

Snow Patrol"s upcoming album (out 1 May 06 in UK and May 9th in U.S.), Eyes Open has leaked it's way onto the inkernet and I can't get enough. I will now re-direct you to some standout tracks. On this album Snow Patrol continues to head in a more mainstream direction, which proves to not necessarily be a bad thing. The song "Hands Open" even name drops Sufjan, "Put Sufjan Stevens on/and we'll play your favorite song/'Chicago' bursts to life/and your sweet smile remembers [trails off...]", which automatically gives them indie-cred. This band has the potential to become one of the UK's next great arena-rock bands...they're certainly better than Coldplay. Give these a listen, while you can...

What are these 'old tracks' you speak of? Are you refering to that special mixtape I made you with those Snow Patrol and Reindeer Section songs? I gave it to you!!! It could very well be lying around in stacks of cd's collecting dust in the garage.
