Pet Shop Boys - Behavior

Pet Shop Boys are most known for their early hits like "West End Girls", "Opportunities", and "Suburbia", but it would be years later that they would perfect their unique brand of intelligent dance music. Behavior is amongst their work and some might say it marked the peak-period of the Tennant/Lowe greatness. The album introduced us to a more introspective, less disco side of Pet Shop Boys. The album is filled with their signature irony, wit, and sophistication as they tackle adult themes like adultery ("To face the Truth") and alcoholism ("Only the Wind"). On every album they've released since, they've captured some flashes of magic, but they have yet to do better than Behavior, and I don't think they ever will. Here's a few highlights...

their new single is quite catchy too. 'Being Boring' is so great.

I really love Pet Shop Boys music. And also appreciate a lot other Neil Tennant contemporary to this album recorded stuff, like the great Electronic project, with Sumner and Marr.
