As I'm sure all of you know Chris Penn was found dead yesterday at his home in Santa Monica.

This weekend I'll be having my own Chris Penn Drinkfest begining with (Chris in smaller roles) Rumble Fish and then moving on to the Tarantino-scripted True Romance. The main feature will be the Reservoir Dogs: 10th Anniversary Special Limited Edition, which features an interview with Chris Penn that takes place in the back of a cargo truck driving around the L.A. Freeways. Chris discusses the impact of the film on his career, his friendship with Eddie Bunker, and Nice Guy Eddie’s fashion sense.

I read this interesting article about how “Internet downloading and MP3 players are creating a generation of people who do not seriously appreciate songs or musical performances” from The Big Takeover (via Chromewaves).

My Yellow Country Teeth posted a few Pretty Girls Make Graves tracks from the upcoming album Élan Vita , Tonight Lets Dance posted two more, and Em P Me posted yet a couple more. Check 'em out and see what you think, the album is set for an April release from Matador Records.
